Bechler... not just a river

It is time for me to use this blog again... this time to follow the training of my new horse while I work through the hurdles that will surely appear before us. 

Sunday March 3rd a new chapter of my life began.  After over two years of not having a horse of my own, I brought home a ten year old, over 16 hand, spotted saddle quarter cross gelding.  He is goofy, a little pushy, and forward going.  He is going to be my next all around horse.  He has a nice walk, giant trot, and canter.  He also has a bonus gait! Bechler is going to be an interesting project for me, but it will be a fun journey!
